Bysonvalley village is one of the 18 villages under Udumbanchola Taluk which came into existence as a result of bifurcation from Rajakkad village on 1st June 1985.The name Bison valley is believed to tell the history of the place, Where the kings and officers of east India company came for hunting bison during there vacations in Munnar.
