Sree Durga temple

Elavally Kavu Temple, also known as Elavally Durga Bhagavathi temple, is located at Elavally in Thrissur district, Kerala. The festival in shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali. Elavally Durga Bhagavathi Temple festival is observed on Aswathy nakshatra day in Kumbham month.Elavally Kavu Temple is one among the 108 Durga temples in Kerala. This is one of the important temples in ancient Kerala. The temple is referred to as Abhinavalathagramam in Mayoorasandesham. The main deity worshipped in the temple is Durga.

St. Sebastian's Church, Chittattukara

St. Sebastian's Church, Chittattukara is a Syro-Malabar Catholic Church situated 22 kilometres to the north-west of Thrissur city and 5 kilometres far of Guruvayur Town.It is only 6 kilometers away from the famous and historically important Palayur.The parish church is dedicated to St Sebastian. The parish community strongly believes that in 1943, the people had a miraculous escape from a wide spread epidemic of cholera and other diseases mainly due to the intervention of the patron saint. The parish community that had a narrow escape from death celebrated a special feast of the saint in July 1943. After that the feast of the saint was celebrated on the 20th of every month. That practice is still kept.

Elavally village office

Elavally is a village in Chavakkad taluk in Thrissur district in the state of Kerala. It is a part of Mullassery Block Panchayath and Elavally Grama Panchayath. This village spread across 16.28 sq.km. South border is shared with Mullassery village, north border shared with Kandanassery and Thaikkad villages. East border shared Tholur village and west border shared with Pavaratty and Thaikkad villages.
