Kinaloor is a village in Kozhikode district in the state of Kerala, India. Kinaloor Village Office is a part of Thamarassery Taluk and is located near Rarothmukku.
The major functions carried out by village offices are as follows * Maintenance and updation of Land records and act as custodian of Government land. * Collection of Basic Tax, Plantation Tax, Building Tax etc * Revenue Recovery. * Conduct of Elections including revision of electoral rolls * Assignment of Government lands to various categories of institutions/organisations/ * Issuance of various certificates for general public purpose * Transfer of Government lands between Departments * Conservation of Government lands and trees * Implementation of calamity relief operations and disbursement of funds to eligible * Operations of Chief Minister’s Distress Relief fund (CMDRF) * Implementation of various pension schemes e.g. Freedom fighter’s pension, cancer/ Destitute/Hiv patients,etc *Implementation of various housing schemes * Management and control of natural resources * Regulation of sand mining, granite mining etc * Issuance of Arms License, Explosive license etc. Executive Magisterial Functions.
