Keezhur is a village located in Iritty Taluk of Kannur district in Kerala.The Iritty Taluk Office is headquartered in Iritty which is part of Keezhur Village. Keezhur Part 34 The Keezhur Village Office is situated on 0.0202 ha of land belonging to 34 Punnad Desam R.S.84. On 26.05.2007 the Minister of Revenue Shri. Ismail has been working in his own building since the inauguration. The total area of ​​the village is 1866.63 hectares.

As per the Census India 2011, Keezhur village has population of 29328 of which 14438 are males and 14890 are females. The population of children between age 0-6 is 3180 which is 10.84% of total population. The sex-ratio of Keezhur village is around 1031 compared to 1084 which is average of Kerala state. THE PEOPLE ARE ENGAGED IN DIFFERENT OCCUPATIONS. MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE ARE FARMERS. THEY ARE CULTIVATING COCONUT, PADDY, VEGITABLES, PLANTAINS , RUBBER ETC
