Hinduism and Christianity are the dominent Religion in Anicadu and also some area have Muslim community.
Ecology
The southern side of the village is bordered with River Manimala which is the major sourse of water for cultivation.Hills like Manthattupara, Neelampara and Pulikkamala are also situated in the village.Most of the people are farmers and major crops are Rubber,Tapioca,Coconut ,Banana , Vegetables.etc.A lot of people were working outside Kerala and outside India which is the backbone of the economy of this village
