The Nadama Village Office was officially inaugurated on Saturday, August 15, 1981 at 5.30 pm by the then Minister of State for Home Affairs, Mr. PC Chacko, chaired by the then Minister of State for Home Affairs, Mr. TK Ramakrishnan. Resurvey implemented on 14.07.2014.

Thripunithura has a population of 92,522. Males constitute 49% of the population and females 51%. Thripunithura has an average literacy rate of 94.34%, higher than the national average of 71.5%: male literacy is 97.37%, and female literacy is 91.52%.

Located in North Kochi Corporation, South Udayamperoor Municipality, West Kochi Municipality, Maradu Municipality and Thiruvankulam area which is part of East Thripunithura Municipality.
