The Nadama Village Office was officially inaugurated on Saturday, August 15, 1981 at 5.30 pm by the then Minister of State for Home Affairs, Mr. PC Chacko, chaired by the then Minister of State for Home Affairs, Mr. TK Ramakrishnan. Resurvey implemented on 14.07.2014.

Demography

Thripunithura has a population of 92,522. Males constitute 49% of the population and females 51%. Thripunithura has an average literacy rate of 94.34%, higher than the national average of 71.5%: male literacy is 97.37%, and female literacy is 91.52%.

Geography

Located in North Kochi Corporation, South Udayamperoor Municipality, West Kochi Municipality, Maradu Municipality and Thiruvankulam area which is part of East Thripunithura Municipality.

Socio-Economic

Thripunithura is an area rich in trade and commerce. Nadama village area is having lot of people who are engaged in various Temple Arts and its associated livelihood.

Ecology

Thripunithura is an ecologically sound land. It is a beautiful place full of backwaters, paddy fields and natural water bodies.

Tourism

Thripunithura is famous for its many ancient shrines of various religions. The Attachamaya Parade is a popular festival that attracts both local and foreign tourists. Thripunithura is home to many ancient palaces and temples of the Kochi dynasty.
