Thottapuzhassery village in Thiruvalla taluk Pathanamthitta district of Kerala state.Thottapuzhassery is sharing its boundaries with river pampa and three other villages Kozhencherry,Koipuram and Ayroor.It is located 17 KM towards North from District head quarters Pathanamthitta.This Place is in the border of the Pathanamthitta District and Alappuzha District. Alappuzha District Chengannur is west towards this place .Its 15 KM away from Thiruvalla.Thottappuzhassery village comes under Aranmula Assembly and Pathanamthitta Parliamentary constituency.

Geography
The total geographical area in which this village is expanded in 1446 hectares / 14.46 Square Kilometers (km2) / 3573.1438160153 acres. Some areas of this village is situated on the banks of river Pamba and the soil is mud based. The rest of the village area is hills.

Economy is mainly depends on NRI income. There are three major metal crusher units in the village named as Poabs Group, Shaniyo crusher and metals and Kuzhuvamannil crusher units.Thottappuzhassery has a glorious religious past and many religious myths .Its the main venue for the christian convention called Maramon convention.This place was give birth to Malankara Marthoma Syrian church and the famous Myladumparasiva temple has situated in this village. its belived that this temple was founded by Sree Narayana Guru.

Most of the places in the village are hilly area. Pampa river flows through this village and some of the land used for paddy cultivation .
