Tirurangadi village office located at Chemmad town, which is in Parappanangadi- Malappuram road. It is one of the most populous village in Kerala. The village share its boundaries with Neduva village in west, Kadalundipuzha in North, Nannambra and Thennala villages in south and Thennala, Vengara and AR Nagar villages in east. Tirurangadi taluk office situated in Tirurangadi village.

Total population of the village is 56,700. The Hindu riligion constitutes 14.39%, Muslim constitutes 85.24% and Christian constitutes 0.23%. Almost 0.14% has no religion. It is one of the populous village in kerala.

Geography

Tirurangadi is located at 11.05°N 75.93°E. It has an average elevation of 10 m (33 ft) from sea level.

Tourism

Tirurangadi was a well known town during Indian independence struggle in Malabar region. Old taluk office building was a historical monument, which was being served as Hajur Kacheri and jail during British era.
