Puthunagaram is a Village in Kollengode Block in Palakkad District of Kerala State, India. It belongs to Central Kerala Division . It is located 14 KM towards South from District head quarters Palakkad.

Demography

As of 2001 India census,[2] Puthunagaram had a population of 16,367. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Puthunagaram has an average literacy rate of 73%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 80%, and female literacy is 67%. In Puthunagaram, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.
