Eramala is a Census Town city situated in Vadakara taluka of Kozhikode district. As per the Population Census 2011, there are total 7,722 families residing in the Eramala city. The total population of Eramala is 34,658 out of which 15,858 are males and 18,800 are females thus the Average Sex Ratio of Eramala is 1,186. The population of Children of age 0-6 years in Eramala city is 3805 which is 11% of the total population. There are 1899 male children and 1906 female children between the age 0-6 years.
