Melmuri village is located in Tirur Taluk of Malappuram district in Kerala.The village comes under Marakkara panchayat. Melmuri villages comes under Kottakkal assembly and Ponnani parliamentary constituency, Tirur is nearest town to Melmuri which is approximately 16 km away
