Geography
The total area is 3184 acres The village shares a border with Vellarvalli village in the east-Iritti taluk, Muzhakkunnu and Thillankeri villages in the north, Sivapuram village in the west and Kannavam and Vellarvalli villages in the south.
Socio-Economic
The people are ordinary farmers and agricultural laborers. There are no industrial establishments. The major crops are cashew, rubber and coconut.
Ecology
Village without natural forest. Area including Puralimala and its valley. 65.8907 H has been acquired in Puralimala through nationalization of private forest land. Water is available everywhere in the village.
