Ayancheri is a Census Town city situated in Vadakara taluka of Kozhikode district. As per the Population Census 2011, there are total 5,864 families residing in the Ayancheri city. The total population of Ayancheri is 26,293 out of which 12,372 are males and 13,921 are females thus the Average Sex Ratio of Ayancheri is 1,125. The population of Children of age 0-6 years in Ayancheri city is 3083 which is 12% of the total population. There are 1598 male children and 1485 female children between the age 0-6 years.
