Kunnamthanam is a village situated in Pathanamthitta district in the state of Kerala, India. It is situated 6Km away from Taluk headquarters and 28 Km away from District Head quarters. The village is surrounded by Mallappally, Kallooppara, Kaviyoor, Thrickodithanam, Paippadu and Karukachal villages. This village comes under Thiruvalla legislative assembly and Pathanamthitta parliamentary constituancy. The major nearest town is Thiruvalla. In 2017, the grama panchayat had declared Kunnamthanam as the first total yoga village in kerala. Total geographical area of village is 1709.29Hectare

Madathikkavu Bhagavathi temple , one of the famous temple in Pathanamthitta district is situated in Kunnamthanam. The Kunnamthanam padayani is one of the earliest padayani festivals of central travancore. This annual festival is observed in association with the Madathilkkavu Temple. The little servants of the devine providence is situated in Kunnamthanam village. The convent has a retreat center named Zion retreat Center.
