Vanimel village is situated at Bhoomivathukkal .Vanimal or Vanimel is a village located in the Kozhikode district of Kerala, India. Bhoomivathukkal is the current business center of Vanimal village and Vayalpeedika is the Heritage city which was the main commercial hub during 1970 90 The Panchayath is renowned as Vanimal and the actual Vanimal Desam is in Vayalpeedika adjacent to Verkadavu Desams which lays on the both sides of Vayalpeedika city.

Vanimel is a village situated in Vadakara taluka of Kozhikode district in Kerala. As per the Population Census 2011, there are total 5,587 families residing in the village Vanimel. The total population of Vanimel is 25,680 out of which 12,368 are males and 13,312 are females thus the Average Sex Ratio of Vanimel is 1,076. The population of Children of age 0-6 years in Vanimel village is 3188 which is 12% of the total population. There are 1551 male children and 1637 female children between the age 0-6 years.
