Chorode is a Census Town city situated in Vadakara taluka of Kozhikode district. As per the Population Census 2011, there are total 8,089 families residing in the Chorode city. The total population of Chorode is 38,245 out of which 17,918 are males and 20,327 are females thus the Average Sex Ratio of Chorode is 1,134. The population of Children of age 0-6 years in Chorode city is 4135 which is 11% of the total population. There are 2140 male children and 1995 female children between the age 0-6 years.
