The village office located on Mannattampara road from Palakkal, which is in Thalappara-Chelari National Highway 66. It is near to Cee Pee Convention center. The village share its boundaries with Tenhippalam village in north, Tirurangadi village in south, AR Nagar and Peruvallur villages in east and Ariyallur and Neduva villages in west

Procession of Kozhi Varavu or hen shaped effigies, made of bamboo and tender coconut leaves and Kuthira Varavu (horse effigies) is a treat to your eyes.
