Villiappally is a Census Town city situated in Vadakara taluka of Kozhikode district. As per the Population Census 2011, there are total 7,829 families residing in the Villiappally city. The total population of Villiappally is 34,502 out of which 15,948 are males and 18,554 are females thus the Average Sex Ratio of Villiappally is 1,163. The population of Children of age 0-6 years in Villiappally city is 3753 which is 11% of the total population. There are 1849 male children and 1904 female children between the age 0-6 years.
