The Village Office is located at Sakthikulangara, Kavanad Junction, in Kollam Taluk .Shakthikulangara Village was formerly a part of Kollam Village and was formed in 1981. The village which was part of Shakthikulangara Panchayat is now under Kollam Corporation.There are four major areas included in this village Meenathu chery , Kureepuzha chery , Sakthikulangara chery and Kannimel chery.
