Nadapuram is a Census Town city situated in Vadakara taluka of Kozhikode district. As per the Population Census 2011, there are total 8,455 families residing in the Nadapuram city. The total population of Nadapuram is 40,230 out of which 18,700 are males and 21,530 are females thus the Average Sex Ratio of Nadapuram is 1,151. The population of Children of age 0-6 years in Nadapuram city is 5301 which is 13% of the total population. There are 2649 male children and 2652 female children between the age 0-6 years. Geography
Nadapuram is located at 11.68°N 75.65°E.[10] It has an average elevation of 25.9 m (85 ft). Geographically, Nadapuram is situated about 14 km to the north east of Vadakara Town, approximately 21 km to the south east of Thalassery Town. The Panchayat lies by the side of a river known by different names as Vishnumangalam river, Mahe(Mayyazhi) river or Vanimel river.
