Vedakkaad Bhagavathy Temple

Vedakkaad Bhagavathy Temple, located at Porkulam in Thrissur, is dedicated to Mother goddess. The temple here has two Sreekovil (Sanctum Santorum) consisting of Swayamboo (self-manifested) of Mahishasura Mardhini and the other with the idol of Goddess Durga. The annual festival of Vedakkaad Bhagavathy temple is the Navarathri festival.
