About Village
Rajakumary is one of the 18 villages under Nedumkandam Taluk in Idukki District which came into existence on 1st June 1985.Rajakumari is one of the few places in Kerala where all kinds of crops are grown. Agriculture is the main occupation with Cardamom, Pepper holding its major share.

As of 2011 India census, Rajakumari had a population of 18518 with 9263 males and 9255 females
Geography
It has a hilly terrain with a cool climate and is situated 28 km away from sub-district headquarter Nedumkandam and 56 km away from district headquarter Painavu and mostly surrounded by Cardamom Plantation
Socio-Economic
Various sections of Christianity, Hinduism and Muslims co-exist harmoniously. Income is mainly from Tourism and Cardamom Plantation.
