The village is bounded on the east by Kolnilam, on the west by Kanolikanal, on the south by Enamavu river and on the north by Venkidengu villageEnamakkal Lake (Kanoli Kanal) is a fresh water lake situated in Enamakkal in Irimbranellur village. The Keecheri River and Viyyoor River joins Enamakkal Lake. The Enamavu Kettu or bund has been created to prevent the fresh water of the lake from mixing with salty seawater.
