Mookkannor village is situated near pala junction. this village is bifurcated from Manapra village and kothakulangara North village and started functioning from 06-01-1987


As per|2001 India census, Mookkannoor had a population of 18638 with 9432 males and 9206 females.[1] People of Mookkannoor are known for culture and social responsibility.


The total geographical area of village is 2127 hectares. Mookkannoor has a total population of 19,009 peoples. There are about 4,756 houses in Mookkannoor village. Angamaly is nearest town to Mookkannoor which is approximately 9km away.
