Major portion of this group Village is rocky area and hilly terrain. Kudal and Merkala areas of Kudalmerkala Village are beautiful locations with paddy cultivation and areca garden. Kudalmerkala Village shares boundaries with Kayyar, Heroor, Paivalike, Bayar, Badoor and Angadimogaru Villages.

The Posadi Gumpe Hill Station (Bayar Village) is situated about 9 kms north east from Kayyar Group Village Office. The low lands of Posadi Gumpe in western side and southern sides fall in Kudalmerkala Village. A small water fall is situated at Neerpanthi nearby Subbayyakatte of Kudalmerkala Village.
