Thrikkariyoor village is formed officially on 1- 4- 1986 by combining  parts of Kothamangalam , Eramalloor , Kottappady and Pindimana villages.  This village includes Kothamangalam municipality parts and parts of Panchayaths: Nellikkuzhi, Kottappadi and Pindimana. This village covers a total area of 1430.9745 Hectre.

Thrikkariyoor villages is bounded by Kothamangalam and Pindimana villages on its East, Kothamangalam and Eramallor villages on its South , Eramallor and Kottappady villages on its West and Pindimana and Kottappady villages on its North.
