Thrikkodithanam village is located in the south-western part of Changanassery taluk in Kottayam district of Kerala, India.The Village Office is located at the junction of the Tengana-Perumthuruthy Road and the Changanassery-Kunnanthanam Road at Kunnumparam Junction.This village was started when the state of Kerala came into existence.
Demography
According to the 2011 census, the population of Thrikkodithanam panchayath is 33819. The western part of the village is very populated as it is widely migrated from Kuttanad. The vast majority belongs to the Hindu-Christian religious.
Geography
The village is bounded on the east by Madappally village, on the south by Payippad village and Kunnanthanam village in Pathanamthitta District, on the west by Changanassery municipality and on the north by Madappally village.
Socio-Economic
A large section of the population who depend on the commercial centers of Changanassery town are those who cultivate rubber, livestock, tapioca, banana and vegetables and are traditionally engaged in furniture manufacturing. The vast majority of the people in this village are dependent on foreign income
Ecology
Kokottuchira Lake and Anjilivelikulam are located here which are of great ecological importance.
Tourism
Thrikkodithanam Mahadeva Temple, Amara PRDS Thrikkodithanam and St. Xaviers Church are located here.
