About Village
The name Kalpakanchery means the "land of coconut". The area was a part of Vettathunadu in ancient times and at the time of independence it was in the Malabar district.
Demography
As of the 2011 census Kalpakanchery had a population of 33721 with 15391 male and 18330 females. The literacy rate of the village was 94.37%.
Geography
Village Office is located between Puthanathani and Kadungathukundu, and is 21 kilometers south-west to the city of Malappuram.
Socio-Economic
Kadungathukundu, Puthanathani, Kurukathani and Randathani are the four major commercial sites in the village.
