About Village
Manacaud is a Village in Thiruvananthapuram Taluk under Thiruvananthapuram Revenue Division of Thiruvananpuram District,KERALA. Long Years back the Village Name was Iranimuttom. This is a resurveyed village resurvey procceding completed on 01.02.2014. Total area comes 700 hectors in 15 Block. The Guinness World Record marked festival "ATTUKAL PONGALA" gatherings mainly took place in and around the village areas and surrounding villages. The temple situated near to (about 800 m) the village office building. The present Village Office set up in June,2003 and its have about 27 foot steps. There is no ramp facility at present. The Government have planned to construct a Smart Village Office Building at ground road level. All staffs are friendly nature and helping mentality to serve the people.

As per 2011 census population of this village is 46147 males and 47634 females Total of 93781. The village jurisdiction coming under 10 wards of Thiruvananthapuram Muncipal Corporation.
Geography
The Village office situated at Iranimuttom Near Govt.Homeo Medical College. The village boundary : NORTH - south half portion of Gandhi Park, south portion of road from Gandhi Park to Killippalam Jn and south portion of road from Killippalam Jn to balaramapuram NH road upto karamana river cross. EAST and SOUTH: Karamana River and WEST: Eastern portion of road from Gandhi park to Kovalam upto karamana river cross. The village boundary shares with Vanchiyoor, Thycaud,Nemom,Thiruvallam and Muttathara villages.
Socio-Economic
The people are mixed with Government officials, professionals, Businessmen, Traders and skilled and unskilled labourers. Most of them are middle class; having high class and Poor families also. We have one colony as "Karimadom Colony" with thick population.

Killiyar flows through this village. lagoons, paddy field and plane lands.

The world famous "ATTUKAL BHAGAVATHY TEMPLE" is the most important pilgrim tourist centre in this village. In your tourist visit at Thiruvananthapuram city, you can visit Chalai Bazar, a big trade centre of all household and other items.
