About office/ History: Morazha village is situated in Anthur Municipality in Kannur Dist. Before the formation of Anthur Municipality the village was a part of Taliparamba Municipality.Though the part of a Municipal town many parts of the it looks like a village. The village is well known for The Morazha strike of 1940,which is the part of India’s freedom struggle. The village is also known for its tourist spots.The Vellikkeel Eco-Tourism park is open to people to enjoy the flora and founa of Vellikkeel,which is nature lover’s delight.The Neeliyaar Kottam which is situated at Mangattuparamba,is a sacred grove.It attracts the devotees and nature lovers alike. Kannur is a place of looms and lore and hence it is a perfect place for a fashion technology institute,NIFT,situated at Dharmasala. The KAP 4th Battalion is also situated at Dharmasala of this village.
