Chakkupallam is one of the 18 Village under Udumbanchola taluk in Idukki District of Kerala State. It is located 33 KM towards South from District head quarters Painavu.

This Place is in the border of the Idukki District and Theni District. Theni District Kambam is East towards this place . It is near to the Tamil Nadu State Border. Chakkupallam is surrounded by Kambam Block towards East , Azhutha Block towards west , Nedumkandom Block towards North , Uttamapalaiyam Block towards North .
Socio-Economic
Various sections of Christianity, Hinduism and Muslims co-exist harmoniously. Income is mainly from Tourism and Cardamom Plantation.
