About Village
Two villages in Ezhumattor gramapanchayath area. Ezhumattoor village was divided in to Ezhumattor village and Thelliyoor Village on 19.01.1987. Presently Village area consists of two blocks. 26 and 27 of Mallapally Taluk.
Geography
Hilly area. water scarcity is a major problem.
Socio-Economic
Govt Higher Secondary School, Ezhumattoor is the major educational institution in this area. Agriculture is the main source of income of the people.
Ecology
Presently 7 quarries are functioning in this village area. Heavy traffic of large trucks and blasting sound from the quarries are disturbing the peaceful life of creatures in this area.
