Geography
The village is situated in the south end of Kollam district, sharing the boundary of Chirayinkeezhu and Varkala Taluk.It is sharing the south end with Kilimanoor village and West end with Madavoor village.It shares its North boundary with chadayamangalam village and East boundary with Kadakkal Village.

Most of the people are working as NRIs .Others are working in agricultural fields and small business.
