About Village

Mullassery -Annakara Village is located in the Mullassery block of Chavakkad taluk, Thrissur district in the Indian state of Kerala. It belongs to Central Kerala Division . It is located 15 KM towards west from District head quarters Thrissur.

Mullassery village in district of Thrissur, Kerala. The Mullassery village has population of 12,165 of which 5,551 are males while 6,614 are females as per report released by Census India 2011. Mullassery Govt. Higher Secondary School is famous with its glory of academic and sports and cultural activities. The village has shrines of various religions as a symbol of its cultural heritage.

Mullassery is a village covered with beautiful landscape surrounded by Kole Land on its boundaries. A number of ancient temples,churches and mosques are there in this village. The place is really beautiful with lots of vegetation like paddy field, coconut, banana farms etc. Also a quarry which has stooped working years ago; but remains beautifully with a large area of water surrounded by coconut trees and other shrubs. occasional film shoots occurs in such areas; films like mahayanam,kadha etc. have different locations of peruvallur in their frames

Maninakunnu, Mullassery Canal and Cole Lands are the major tourist attraction in the Village. Parambanthali Shiv temple is one in 108 Siva Temples in Kerala which is famous to all over the world for its constructions and architect ability of ancient rulers.
