About Village
The inhabitants of this village are traditional tribals and settlers from erstwhile Travancore. Most of the settlers relocated to this place belong to three categories. They came here as part of grow-more-food scheme, for rubber cultivation scheme and relocation of those who relinquished their holdings to the State for the construction of Idukki Arch Dam.
