Nediyenga is a village comes under Sreekandapuram Municipality,Irikkur Block,Taliparamba Taluk..It belongs to Northern Kerala .Nediyenga Village was historically ruled by the Mushika Kingdom.Nediyenga village has a mixed population of Hindus Muslims,and Christian. Nediyenga was one of the major centers of Malabar migration.Most of the people in Nediyenga are engaged in agriculture or business .Historic peasant movement called Kavumbayi samaram in 1949 was in Nediyenga village .Nediyenga is politically part of Irikkur Assembly which belongs to Kannur Loksabha constituency

As of 2011 India census, Nediyanga village had total population of 15,859 which constitutes 7,753 males and 8,106 females. Nediyenga Village is the 14th most populous village located Taliparamba sub district. Population density of the village is 450 / km sq. Nediyenga village has an area spreads over 35.22 km2 with 3,838 households. Population in the age group 0-6 was 1,607 (10.1% of total population). Overall literacy of Nediyenga village was 94.7%.

Nediyenga Village is located 38 km towards the District headquarters Kannur.The total geographical area is 35 km square.It is the 12 th biggest village in the sub district by area. Nediyenga has both Plain and hilly terrains.
