About Village
Cheleri village is situated in kolachery Grama panchayat at Taliparamba taluk in kannur District. Most of the part of this village is surrounded by water. In eastern part of this village maunderi river is flowing which is the biggest tributal of vala pattalam river. Munderi bird sanctuary is situated in this river and the migrated birds are the attraction in this sanctuary. Dalil palli and cheleri subrhmanyan temple are the main tabernacle in this area. Cheleri mukku about 100mtrs far from the office, is the main town and it is the junction point to travel to the winds
