The Village was formed in the year 1987 with Karindalam and Cheemeni II as a constituent village.The office is situated at Karindalam .The LSG with jurisdiction of this village is Kinanur-Karindalam Grama Panchayath. The village spans 2386.87 hectares with Kinanur Village in West , Beemanady in the East ,Karyankodu River in the South and Kinanur and Parappa Villages in the north as village boundaries.

The total households in the village,Karindalam & CheemeniII combined is1661. The total population of the Village is 6969 persons with 4564 being the male population and 3999 being the female population, as per the Census of 2011.

Village is partly hilly and partly midland laterite plains in terrain ,well connected in every part.
