About Village

Karadka village is a part of Adhur group village situated at Mulleria Town of Kasaragod Taluk of Kasaragod District. Adhur group village consists of two villages namely Adhur and Karadka. Mulleria town is situated around 25 km away from Kasaragod Town.

Demography

As of 2011 Census ,Karadka Grama Panchayat had a population of 21211 with 10535 males and 10676 females.

Geography

Karadka villages is a part of Adhur group village situated in Karadka Grama Panchayat. Major portion of Adhur group village is Hilly Area. Karadka Reserve Forest is situated in Adhur group village. Arecanut, coconut, Paddy etc are the main cultivating crops in Adhur group village. Karadka village shares border with Adhur,Kumbdaje, Nekraje, Muliyar and Adoor Villages.

Socio-Economic

People are mainly engaged in agricultural activities and trade.

Ecology

Most part of the village area are hilly terrain. Karadka Reserve Forest situated in Adhur group village. Payaswini river passes through this village.
