This village was created in 1987 by bifurcating Bandadka Village. Karivedakam Village is located in Kasaragod Tehsil of Kasaragod District in Kerala state. It is situated 46km away from Kasaragod which is the headquarters of Karivedakam Village. Kuttikkol is the gram panchayat of Karivedakam Village.


Total 2237 families residing in Karivedakam village. The Karivedakam Village has population of 10042 of which 4996 are males while 5046 are females as per population census 2011
