Village situated in Karthikapuram at Udayagiri Grama panchayath. Taliparamba Taluk, Kannur District,670571. Udayagiri village is located at the easternmost tip of Kannur District on the border of Coorg District of Karnataka.The total area of the Village is 5761 hector ( 14235.74 acres). East: Karnataka-Kerala State Boundary. South : Elamala,Manjappullu Forest,Kappimala Uruvankari Junction,Perumundathattu, Parothummala Junction Road,Koli Alakode Road, Kochukuttaparamba Thodu, Rayarom River. West: Parappa Thodu, Neduvode Chathamangalam Road. North: Thirumeni Pulingome Village Boundary. Udayagiri village was formed on 2014 April 29 by dividing the existing Alakode Vellad Villages.
