Eruvessi village located in the eastern side of kannur district.It is located at a distance of around 50 km from kannur town.village office is 850 meter away from chemperi town.There is a famous temple called padikkutti devi temple.padikkutti temple is the birth place of sree muthappan.Eruvessi is the major centers of christian migration(Malabar migration).village bordering the kerala and karnataka forests

As of 2011 india census eruvessi village had population of 19216 which comprises 9519 males and 9697 females.eruvessi village spreads over an area of 54.06 sq.km with 5395 families residing in it.eruvessi had an overall literancy of 95.6%

Eruvessi is a hilly village on the eastern side of the kannur district.Kearal hill highway (SH 59) passes through chemperi town.The nearest international airport is kannur of about 35km away
