About Village
Puliyoor Village Office started as function about 55 years ago in a rented building at Vellatttu Building opposite Thripuliyoor Ganapathy Temple in Puliyoor. Now the village has its own building and land. The present building’s foundation stone was laid by the then Chengannur Asst. Collector Sri. J Sudhakaran IAS on 21.03.1986 and the function was inagruated by the then Hon. Minister for Revenue Sri. P J Joseph and that function was presided by then MLA Sri. S Ramachandran Pillai.

Puliyoor Village belongs to South Kerala Division located in 114 KM from State Capital Thiruvananthapuram, 50 KM towards East from the District Head Quarters and 4 KM towards West from Chengannur Taluk Office.
