Ecology

Pallathadka River flowing in East West direction joining Arabian sea near Kumbala is the main source of irrigation. People are predominantly engaged in agricultural activities. Important crops cultivated included Paddy Coconut and areca nut. Recently Rubber is also started cultivating in the region.
