Maniyoor Village situates in Kuttiattoor grama panchayath and a calm and quiet place . It is famous for paddy cultivation. Maniyoor paddy field extended for hectors.This village is rich in bio diversity and water sources. Wet and dry lands are there . Laterite soil and alluvial soil can be seen

Mainly people belong to Hindu, Muslim community . Christian community is very less in this village. People live in harmony. Most people are farmers , coolie workers and merchants. There are 4 LP schools , 2 U P Schools and a Salafi B.Ed college .
