The present building was commissioned on 17-10-1986 following the formation of the Keezhallur section in 1907 with 9 desoms. Long-standing records are still preserved today

Included in midland, but is a hilly and valley area consisting of cobbled hills, Velliamparambu, Panayathamparambu, Vadakkembath hill and Veri hill, and the plains near Kannur International Airport.
