started on 1-10-2010 one of the fully digitalized village in Thrissur Taluk .As per The Govt vision and Mission we are trying to deliver all the services on finger tips and doorsteps.No ques and delay on any service and services and enquiries available through telephone , whatsapp and email . Most of the services will be available through online. As per the Govt and district collectors mission of digital payments no physical cash transaction done in last 3 years and its done through online or by Epos machine.

Demography

The Paralam Village has population of 9,187 of which 4,498 are males while 4,689 are females as per report released by Census India 2011.

Geography

Venginissery is a small Village/hamlet in Cherpu Block in Thrissur District of Kerala State, India. It comes under Avinissery Panchayath. It belongs to Central Kerala Division . It is located 7 KM towards South from District head quarters Thrissur. 2 KM from Cherpu. 274 KM from State capital Thiruvananthapuram. The village is surrounded by paddy field called kole lands which is below sea level and Hill areas . The neighbouring villages are East-Palissery , Chevoor West paralam and Kodannur, South-Cherpu, chevoor and North Kanimangalam

Socio-Economic

The main livelihood of people are agriculture and is also famous for Timber related business and goldsmiths

Ecology

The village is surrounded by paddy fileld and kole lands which is a Ramsar site.

Tourism

Aykunnu temple- A temple situated on a top of the hill and surrounded by kole lands(agricultural fields).The sceneries and Terrain of up and downs attract the upcoming enviorment friendly tourism like touring cyclists and Bird watching on Ramsar sites. one of the Best birds and birders paradise -around 6750 birds and rare migratory birds have been observed and journalised published from this kole lands. And is one of the major part of govt Kerala bird atlas programme conducted last year.
