The Village situates at Chonad in Karassery Grama Panchayath. The north and west border of Village is river Eruvazhinji. River Eruvazhinji is a tributary river of Chaliyar. The East border of the village is sharing with Kumaranallur Village and East and South border is sharing with Kodiyathur Village. Both Villages are coming under Kozhikode Taluk.

The Village situates in rural area. Agriculture is the main source of livelihood of the Village people. The rubber and coconut is the main plantation crop in this village.
