Cheruvannur village consists of 6 desoms , viz :- 1.Muyippoth 2.Vennarod 3.Avala. 4.Kuttoth 5.Cheruvannur 6.Pambirikunnu. The Kuttiyadi river, erstwhile known as Kotta river is flowing from north to south, through the eastern side, detaches the grama panchayath from Vatakara taluk.
