Kadambur Village Office

Kadambur Village office which is under Kannur Taluk is situated in the Kannur - Kuthuparamba State Highway in between Kadachira Higher Secondary School and Kadachira Doctor Mukku, near to Kadachira Sub Registrars Office. The Kadambur Village Office, which was initially part of the Muzhappilangad Grama Panchayat was housed in the building where the Muzhappilangad panchayath office was located. With the formation of Kadambur Grama Panchayat in 1978, after the division of Muzhappilangad Grama panchayat, Kadambur village became a part of Kadambur Grama Panchayat. Kadambur Village Office was then shifted to a building near the Deshasevini library. After sometime of operation, the Village Office shifted its operations to the first floor of the building adjacent to the Kadachira Sub-Registrars Office. In 1980, got five cents of land near Kadachira Sub-Registrars Office from the land owned by Registration department and built own building there. The Village Office is currently working in this building. Kadambur Village consists of five Desoms which are: Adoor, Kottur, Orikara, Kannadichal and Kadambur. The village has a total land area of 1897.23 acres in five Desoms.
